Richard Village is the Founder and Strategic Director of creative consultancy Smith &+ Village.
He has wide experience in brand strategy and corporate identity design programmes and has worked with many of the country’s best-known retailers, primarily Waitrose, John Lewis and Marks & Spencer.
Since founding Smith &+ Village in 2013, Richard worked with Booths on all aspects of their brand, from their corporate identity through their own label packaging to their famous Christmas Book. Most recently, he has been responsible for the award-winning reinvention of the iconic Harvey Nichols food range.
Richard has a degree in Modern Languages from Oxford and speaks French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish and (if he's forced) Russian.
